Since 2006, Leisure Days Gatineau has embodied the inspiring story of a family united by their passion for camping and recreational vehicles. It all began with the Parker family, who spent their summers camping in a 1974 Bellevue tent trailer. This shared joy planted the seeds for a unique entrepreneurial adventure.
In 2006, the Parker brothers—Guy, Éric, and Luc—turned their passion into reality by opening a franchise with the Leisure Days group. At the time, Guy Parker, a Chartered Accountant and General Manager at Southbank Dodge, recognized the potential of RV sales during a pilot project at Buckingham Dodge. RV sales quickly outpaced car sales, leading to the closure of Buckingham Dodge and the birth of Leisure Days Gatineau.
From the start, the Parker brothers faced challenges, including skepticism about their location. However, through hard work and dedication, they proved that passion and commitment could overcome any obstacle. Their retired father also contributed significantly to their success.
As demand grew, Leisure Days Gatineau consistently invested in its infrastructure: purchasing a workshop in 2008, expanding further in 2018, and acquiring additional land in 2022. These enhancements allow the dealership to accommodate up to 300 RVs and deliver outstanding customer service.
Today, Leisure Days is Canada’s largest recreational vehicle dealership network, and the Parker family continues to proudly support each customer before, during, and after the purchase of their RV.
